Mr. Woodrow Wilson started Woodrow Wilson Construction Company, Inc. in 1955. Mr. Wilson's philosophy was very simple - deliver the client a quality building for the most economical price, in a reasonable time frame, while making a fair profit. Mr. Wilson's reputation was impeccable and his clients were his biggest booster. As Baton Rouge grew, so did Mr. Wilson's company until it gained its place as one of the major commercial construction firms in the Baton Rouge area. The Firm was incorporated in 1976 and Mr. Wilson's three sons, who grew up working in the business and learning the business while earning their high school and college degrees, became officers of the corporation.

After Mr. Wilson's untimely death in 1985, the three sons, Kurt, Mark and Jim Wilson vowed to continue the firm with the same principles established by their father. Today, Woodrow Wilson Construction enjoys a reputation as one of the finest commercial construction firms in Louisiana, as well as one of the largest.
